The Japan Man!

When I was at work the other night it was about ten minutes after we locked the doors two servers and I were sitting out in the lobby just talking about how the night went when all of the sudden this little Hyundai comes screeeeeeeeching into our parking lot! There are American flags hanging out the window and a strobe light attached to the head rest of the passengers seat! There were magnet stickers on the hood of little pin up japanese style girls, Also a fake foot was closed in the back door so it was hanging out! A little japanese man hops out of the car and starts pounding on our door! Come to find out he could not hear and he spoke no english so I let him in and brought him a piece of paper! Little did I know this little discussion would go on for an hour and a half! He was hungry so we got him a burger, fries, and a sundae! He ran outside set up a tri-pod and began to take pictures of our restraunt, when the food was ready he took pictures of all of his food, of him eating the food, the booth where he was sitting and so on! He kept writing about how it looks just like a Diner in the movies! He was traveling through Utah Cali and Nevada! He was doing research on diner food! He was so exstatic to tell, or write I should say, about how he was going to strip in las vegas for new years and he is going to rave! He bought glasses that said 2010 on them and can't wait to see the strip! On his way out of Wingers I grabbed my camera and we got a couple of pictures with him!

So Thank you little man for turning such an awful night into a memory and experience I will talk about forever!
Christmas at the Jensen home

Have you ever watched the movie Four Christmases? That is our Christmas in a nut shell! We spent a couple hours on Christmas eve at Inge's house and it was so fun! We were also up until 1:30 AM dropping off presents at my moms house and getting stuff for breakfast the next day!

Once we were done with that we headed home and I could wait no longer! We first did stockings for each other and then took turns opening presents!
The best part of Christmas is watching Brody open presents, once you squeak the wrapped up toy he will dig at it and scratch
until he gets inside!Mom I hate when you make me sit still by my toys for your stupid blog pictures! This is Brody J and all the goodies he got in his stocking!

This is our perfect little family at my mom's house at 7 AM!
We got everything we wanted for Christmas it was an amazing day and I love all the memories we made!

CANCUN MEXICO

I know it has taken me forever to blog Cancun but have no fear the time has come! I am just warning you now that there will be tons of pictures but well worth it! We had a blast!

We are loaded on to the plane and ready to get our tan on! The planes were packed on our trip over but we got really lucky on the way back I had an empty seat next to me and I got plenty of sleep in while Chanc looked out the window and tried to keep himself entertained!

We snorkeled once at Xel-Ha which was a really cool fresh water park! It was back in an inlet where the river meets the sea!
We also went to Isla Mujeres and got to snorkel there it was absolutely beautiful but a little overwhelming for me because there were so many people snorkeling with us! I was just minding my own business when this huge FAT guy swam over top of me and I thought I was drowning I freaked out and just swam back to the boat! It is funny now but at the time I literally could have packed my bags and come home!

Chanc and I actually went to Cancun for our two year anniversary! One of my friends that use to work with me at Wingers, that Chanc and I have stayed in touch with because Chanc gets along really well with her husband Derrik! Well it just so happened their three year anniversary is close to ours so we decided to make a trip out of it! We had such a blast and I hope we can keep this tradition! It was a perfect mix!

CANCUN PALACE

This was the view from our AMAZING room! It was nothing short of paradise! The ocean was amazing the whole staff made us feel like royalty! Each room was packed with everything from a big jacuzzi tub to a liquor dispenser!

As soon as we got out of the taxi they came up to us with Welcome Drinks with cute little umbrellas and warm towels! I felt like a celebrity!

PICTURE TIME!

One morning we woke up at like 8 AM so we could get a whole day of laying out, playing on the beach, and just plain lounging! We got ready then headed down for amazing breakfast as usual and as we were sitting on the balcony eating our omelets it started to pour! Since we couldn't lay out we decided to go up to our room and this is what happened next!

Fewwwww! Finally the sun came out and we layed out all day! Needless to say we looked a little like lobsters by the end of the day but man it was so worth it!

Couples Massage!

It was so much fun for Chanc and I to just relax and have such a fun experience as husband and wife!

They had so many different places to eat! We had steak, mexican, buffet, hibachi, sushi, and the list goes on and on! Here are some pics from our fun little dinner dates!

Soaking up the sun was the best feeling ever especially when I would talk to my mom at night and she was talking about snow and all the awful things of winter here in Utah!

CHEERIO!

Taking an afternoon nap!

Night time in Cancun is just as pretty as the day! We spent alot of time at night walking on the beach and just enjoying our time in Paradise!

Tulum and Chichen Itza

We had so much fun being total tourists and exploring the local Mayan Ruins! They were beautiful and I still can't believe how they built such amazing buildings without the modern technology we have!

On our way on a sweet tour bus!

I was starting to get a little overwhelmed with pictures and the rain so Bridget decided to lighten the mood! I was kissing that silly little dragon!
It was such amazing weather! We had our walking shoes on and our shorts and tank tops we were ready for a great day! As we started to look around Chanc and Derrik started saying it looks like its going to rain! As we followed around our tour guide it started to pour like I have never seen before! Some Mexican was walking around selling these ghetto beauties but I think it was the best 8 dollars I have ever spent!

we call this CHICKEN PIZZA!

Not many of you know how bad Chanc hates breaking rules! So this was one of his the ultimate rebel moments! As we were at Tulum there were ropes surrounding all of it but of course I wanted my picture taken by these cool pillars! So we grabbed some guy and ran up there for a quick picture but let me tell you, the whole time Chanc just kept saying hurry hurry this is a bad idea, I can't believe we are doing this!

It was so cool to see the beautiful ocean in the background of some of these pictures!

By the end of the trip we got so sick of pictures that we decided to switch it up a little and trust me we got some weird looks! Thanks again guys for such an amazing trip!
