WE'RE BUILDING A HOUSE!

This is what we have been up to!



My life has me going a million different ways and I am LOVING it! Chanc and I finally decided that its time to do something for us and we are so excited! It has been a blast picking out the plan and the location and just seeing Chanc and I putting all of our visions together to build an amazing home! I know its not much but it means the world to me!


I have to admit it has been A LOT of stress but not the ways I thought it would be, picking out colors, tile, carpet, appliances, and so on was a breeze! I knew just what I wanted and everyday it just got better and better! I have a collection of samples that I have worked very hard for haha! Is there such a thing as a sample hoard? Because if so I am doing a great job! I am well on my way to claiming that title!!! Chanc makes fun of me because every picture I send him of a certain object I'm picking between I have my carpet, floor tile, cabinet, and paint sample in the same picture! When people see me struggling as I walk in to the store with all my samples I think they are scared of what I will do next! I think it has helped a lot with the whole vision of seeing what it will all look like together!


People always said "O good luck building a house is so hard on your marriage" and I still haven't experienced that! Chanc and I have such similar taste and we love all of the same stuff so its been so fun just watching our dream come true! I will keep updating pictures but once it gets closer to being done I probably won't post much but I would love to take anyone on a tour inside if they would like! I have become quite the tour guide!



Thanks to Blaine, who is Chanc's step dad, he has put so much love and devotion in to this house! He is actually our contractor and has literally made this all happen over night! He has been a dream to work with and I truly appreciate all the time he has taken out of his life to do this for us! It means the world to us!


My mom and dad have been there through every nail and every decision I have made! I call them for a sounding board or for advice! I have taken them both through the house numerous times and I know that my dad has stopped by there several times when he is alone I think he is pretty excited as well! I love to see how proud they are of us its such a great feeling to know that we are on the right track!

Slacker!

I have seriously struggled at blogging lately! I haven't had much to talk about or write about because life is just so crazy I feel like I have nothing to post but at the same time I feel like I have tons to post! So for now I will give you no details but I will say that I love you all and thanks for checking up on us! I feel like my life is flying by and I can't even catch a breath but here are some things I do know-

I love my life

I am totally obsessed with cooking dinner for Chanc! I love the feeling that he can just come home and eat and then we can spend the rest of the night together in our sweats! I also love Chanc he is truly my best friend and the best husband a girl could ask for! He knows just how to love me and he is also great at shopping for me! What can I say I am one lucky girl!

I watch a lot of tv! It seems like I am always catching up on my DVR! I do not care who wins American Idol I fell in love with NO ONE so good luck to them both!

I am so so so busy I feel like I never have time to clean! Which is huge for me.... I usually clean EVERY SINGLE DAY but lately I am lucky to even get a shower in! I have been rockin the ponytail A TON!

I am at the gym A LOT I love zumba, I love sweating, and I love my new tennis shoes

I still HATE shape ups I see them more and more and they make me want to cry!

I cannot wait to see Sex and the City 2 it is going to be amazing! I love just going with the girls and having a great time! Thanks for picking us up last time Chanc LOVES!

I am still a Twilight fan and I am constantly talking about how excited I am for the movie to come out! Breaking Dawn will be just a great movie for everyone not just silly High School love!

I hate having storage! I wish I could rent a dumpster and fill it up with all of those boxes in my closet! There is no need for it all but we can't seem to let it all go!

I know I know I am totally obsessed with my dog! It's a sick obsession and I know that you have probably seen a lot of these photos, but as I sit here cuddling him and loving him more than ever I thought I would upload some pictures to remind you all of how adorable and perfect my son is! Go ahead and call me psycho but who knew Chanc and I would fall in love with such a hairy little rat! Best Christmas present ever!

Trip to California! Congrats Mitch!

Chanc and I had the amazing opportunity to go to California on April 27th to go see Mitch Talbot play against the Anaheim Angels! He is on the Cleveland Indians and is doing a spectacular job! Chanc was friends with Mitch and played baseball with him since they were little kids and they have kept in touch through the years so when we got the chance to go see him play in the big leagues we were stoked!


Chanc randomly posted on Facebook that we wanted to go to the game and he got a message from Alonzo Ashworth inviting him to ride with his family in a HUGE 15 passenger van to the game!


We started our journey at 7 AM and hopped on the freeway California bound! We took quite a few potty breaks and A LOT of food stops! It seemed like all we did was eat drive and sleep! I slept most of the way there! Also most of the way back! SURPRISE!


Once we got to California we stopped by a local Target and bought stuff to make posters! It was a blast everyone was so creative and we sat in Targets little eating area for at least a half hour brainstorming and making our posters! I know the locals thought we were totally crazy!


At the game we sat in the same area but were a little scattered! We sat next to Alonzo and Carly!


We screamed, acted like idiots, spent way to much money on snacks, and jumped up and down with our posters! It was just such an Amazing feeling to see Mitch out there doing such an amazing job! I remember watching Chanc play against Mitch when we were in High School which was so cute and fun! Chanc and I are so proud of him for following his heart and living his dream! It was fun to see his parents look at him and how they were just so proud of him and everything he has accomplished!
After the game was over we got to go down to some lounge by the visitors team clubhouse and Mitch came out to talk to us! He was all wrapped up and stuff I don't know all the details but I'm sure they were just prepping his shoulder and taking great care of it so he can play over and over again! He is doing so great!


Chanc and I set our DVR to watch ESPN every night that he plays so we can watch little clips of him and hear them say his name "Mitch Talbert" seems to be the usual thing they call him, he said he has stopped correcting people because so many people get it right kids! its MITCH TALBOT! Once we talked to him for a while we hopped back in the van and made it back to Cedar at about 6 AM! Then Chanc and I had to both work on Wednesday! It was a quick 24 hours but worth every second of it! I hope we can see him play again but it was a first great game to catch! Thanks everyone for such an amazing trip! Thanks to the Ashworth's for getting us there and back safely and taking such great care of us! I am sure Chanc and I will talk about this trip for a very very long time! Congrats again Mitch! You rock!

Pool Time Fun!

We had a blast laying out on Saturday with Aaron and Sharon! Here are some pics we took throughout the day!

Chanc and I being real sexy! We were digging for gold! Getting a picture of both of us being normal is pretty much impossible!

It was our first time at the pool at Casablanca for the year and definitely not our last! I love floaties, sun tan oil, and sunshine so it was my perfect day!



Chanc does NOT like laying out! He doesn't think it feels nice or relaxing and he would much rather be in the Air Conditioned hotel room watching TV! As you can tell in the next picture I think Aaron feels the same way!

Sick as can be!

I have had a rough week! I have been sick since last Wednesday! I had to call in sick to work Thursday, I worked a couple hours on Friday and finally was starting to feel a little better! So we packed up and headed to Mesquite! I spent Saturday laying out and playing at the pool with Sharon, Aaron, and Chanc! I was feeling totally fine but by 9 or so that night I was starting to feel pretty sick again! I went back to our hotel room with Sharon while the boys continued to gamble! By Sunday morning I could hardly lift my head off the pillow! I put on a happy face and showered and put on my make up but from then on I was no fun! I spent the majority of the day being super sick! We stopped at the mall on the way through St. George and I didn't even feel like shopping! That makes me sick just thinking about it hahaha! If you know me you know that I will do anything to go shopping its like the best feeling ever! But I just sat on the bench at the mall and contemplated putting myself in the trash can because I pretty much felt like garbage! Once we got home Chanc set me up in bed and took such great care of me! It's so nice to have such an amazing husband who loves me with all of his heart! He cooked me soup, made me choke down water and let me watch whatever I wanted! He layed in bed with me until I fell asleep! Today I am feeling ok! I had to clean the house a little and wash brody j or else the look of the house was making me feel even worse haha! Thanks Chanc for being such a perfect slave and I hope one day I can make it up to you!

Dear Skechers:

I hate you for inventing these shoes! Why is it that every time I see a pair of these on the street I cringe! I am amazed by how many overweight people I see wearing you! Do they not look around and see that the people running marathons and majorly in shape are wearing a worn our pair of Nike's or New Balance?! You will not get swimsuit ready by slipping on a pair of these UGLY UGLY shoes and I may have to put you on friend probation if any of my friends buy a pair of these! Don't waste your money on the latest trend and garbage! Get a gym membership or take your kids or dog for a walk!
